Lisboa Tu e Eu 2
About This Spot
Tucked away in a quiet corner of Lisbon, accessible only by a steep, narrow staircase, Lisboa Tu e Eu 2 feels like a private find — a place where the city’s bustling energy softens and slows. The intimate setting beckons you inside to a snug dining room filled with tiny tables and close-knit chairs that invite gentle conversation and a shared sense of discovery.
The pace here is unhurried, the atmosphere quietly warm, as if stepping into a local’s cherished hideaway rather than a typical city restaurant. The narrow space, while cozy to the point of feeling almost secretive, creates an unmistakable closeness where moments feel more immediate and personal.
Food at Lisboa Tu e Eu 2 is a patient unfolding of Portuguese coastal flavors. Imagine the captivating aroma of garlic-kissed shrimp or the smoky freshness of grilled sardines gently mingling with the tang of fresh olives and rich, creamy cheese from a simple charcuterie board. Plates arrive with a rustic authenticity — tender octopus, flaky cod cleverly mingled with eggs and crispy potatoes, or Iberian pork matched with vibrant, peppery salad notes. Each dish offers quiet comfort and a tactile sense of place, deeply rooted in tradition but felt intimately through every bite.
Dining here is a tender dance with the senses, heightened further if you’re lucky enough to nab a spot outside or upstairs, where the stroll through Lisbon’s hidden alleys fades into the background. The sangria sparkles softly in glasses, a welcome companion to the vivid flavors and the heartfelt exchanges between guests and the welcoming staff. It is less about show and more a shared appreciation — of food, of space, of brief, meaningful moments.
For those who enjoy seeking out the city’s understated gems, Lisboa Tu e Eu 2 offers a quietly memorable experience that lingers long after the meal ends — a pause in Lisbon’s rhythm where simplicity and sincerity create something quietly rare.

Food was great. Multiple signs said cash only but they did accept card. Must stress size of place -tiny place with tiny tables and chairs. You have to move tables to get in/out of the chairs. I would not recommend if you are taller or wider as it would be very uncomfortable to sit and enjoy your meal. If you can get outdoor table or upstairs seating then def go in and enjoy. Sadly they were out of the duck rice that reviews rave about, but the shrimp rice meal was good. Soupier than expected. Garlic shrimp app was best we had on our Portugal trip. Friend had the mixed meat platter and it was really good. Neighboring tables loved the rice pudding. The chocolate mousse dessert was the richest and fudgiest I've ever had. Its rare I don't finish a dessert because its too rich but this was one.

We found this place based on Google Reviews. We rated this restaurant five stars. We had the grilled sea bream and the grilled Octopus plates. We started with some passion fruit sparkling sangria and a glass of house white wine. For dessert we had the rice pudding and the lemon meringue pie. The stairs from above by from the Cathedral are closed, so approach the restaurant from the bottom of the stairs. Prices are quite reasonable.

A little tricky to locate this place as it’s hidden up a steep staircase in a tiny alley near São Bento. Arrived at noon on a weekday and had the entire place to myself the whole time – almost felt like I booked the restaurant privately! Ordered the classic Bacalhau à Brás: perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs with salty cod, crispy straw potatoes, loads of onion and parsley. Comforting and well-executed – extra points for serving it heart shaped. Prices fair, portions generous. Worth the adventure if you’re nearby and crave traditional cod. Interesting little spot.

This restaurant was our first meal in Lisbon, and we had a great time! It's a small place but the seafood was great (we had garlic shrimp and sardines/potatoes) and the people who work there are so sweet. We would definitely go again!

Omg. This is the best food experience I have had in a long time!! I am a true foodie and I am very happy to announce...this is it! The real thing!! Flavours are exquisite! Such purity of taste!!!!!! I have come here twice in three days, it truely is that good! I have had: the octopus salade (absolute perfection; Such flavor such taste, so tender! So fresh!) The black pig (i have no words..it is so so so amazingly good and that is an understatement, I would have licked the plate if I would have been alone ) and a dish with cabbage that was surprising and delicious and the second time I came I got the chocolate mouse as desert. Because if the main food is this good...desert must also be, right. I was not dissapointed!! Yes I was so happy. The tasteful herbs, the exactly right cut of seasalt, such details of taste and freshness and this mouse; It was everything a real mouse should be. Real beautiful chocolate (none of that nonsense they call cacao fantasy) and enough of it, deliciously fluffy, made with real eggs, and especially wonderful soft texture and orgastic delicious. Thank you for this experience. If I would have stayed more days, i would have come back to taste even more of this food!

Tucked away up a small stairway in an alley, this cozy restaurant was a great find. We had grilled salmon, octopus, and beef — all cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The place was packed but never too noisy, creating a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. Tap water was charged, which was a bit surprising, but everything else impressed us. Clean facilities and friendly service rounded out a very enjoyable meal.

Came here twice, and I can't recommend enough this place enough. Order from the chef's menu and you can't go wrong. Arroz con Leche (rice pudding) was divine. Same with the chocolate mousse. I not even a dessert guy but they were both bomb. I had the mixed seafood platter and tuna steak. Both excellent.
